The modern look carries on the new design language of the SUNBEAM 28.1. The new SUNBEAM 22.1 appeals to both cruising and regatta sailors alike and is extremely versatile. Continuous chines on the hull and a backstay less self-trimming mountain stream rig underline these ambitions. Two-metre-long benches bow and stern pulpits included in the standard version, guardrail, bathing ladder plus self-tailing winches on the cabin roof, reflect the demand for comfort.

In cooperation with J&J Design, numerous sophisticated detail solutions have been developed, such as the retractable pre-balanced bionic rudder or the pivoting ballast sword. In this model, the ballast body is integrated into the hull to ensure high safety and stability. The outboard engine can be easily and safely lifted out of the water on a rail and stored in one of the back boxes in the cockpit without having to disassemble it.

HOLIDAYS AND REGATTAS

The 6.85 meter long and 2.49 meter wide SUNBEAM 22.1 can easily be slipped and trailed due to its low weight of 1.3 tons and an integrated mast-laying device. With a mainsail of 17.5 square meters and a headsail of 9 square meters, the new SUNBEAM 22.1 is anything but underpowered and can optionally be equipped with a roll down gennaker. Due to the special hull design at the bow, the interior with a double berth offers ample space for this boat size and can be extended to four berths if required.

Whether for family holidays or regatta racing, the new SUNBEAM 22.1 is the ideal solution for sailors who like to be mobile and flexible all year round.
